Pressence

Privacy Policy

We are committed to transparent, minimal data practices that follow the EDPB best-practice guidance. This notice explains what we collect, why we do so, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Who we are

Pressence Ltd. (“Pressence”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the waitlist experience available at pressence.app. You can contact us at privacy@pressence.ai.

2. Data we collect

We only request the minimum details needed to manage your waitlist registration:

  • Name (required)
  • Email address (required)
  • Hotel or property name (optional)

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data or personal information beyond the fields above.

3. Why and how we use your data

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Register you for the product waitlist and confirm your interest
  • Send product updates, onboarding information, or regulatory notices
  • Understand basic demand signals so we can improve early access planning

Legal bases (Article 6 GDPR): consent when you tick the opt-in box, and legitimate interest to maintain the security and reliability of the waitlist service.

4. Data sharing & processors

We do not sell personal data. Limited processors (such as email, CRM, or hosting providers) may handle your information solely to deliver the waitlist service, subject to written data-processing agreements and confidentiality obligations.

5. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, and we assess whether additional safeguards are required.

6. Retention

We keep your details for as long as you remain on the waitlist or until you withdraw consent. We then delete or anonymise the data unless we must retain it to meet legal or regulatory requirements.

7. Your rights

Subject to local law, you may:

  • Request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing, including marketing communications
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing
  • Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority

Email privacy@pressence.ai to exercise these rights. We respond within one month as recommended by the EDPB.

8. Security

We employ industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, role-based access, and periodic reviews of our processors to keep your data secure. No online system is entirely risk-free, so we will notify you and relevant authorities of any breach when required by law.

9. Terms & notice changes

Your use of the waitlist is subject to basic terms: you confirm the details you submit are accurate, you have authority to provide them, and you will only use Pressence’s updates for lawful purposes. We may update this notice to reflect regulatory guidance. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
